Ghost in the Shell – Novo Anime vai ter Duas Temporadas:
Anteriormente, a Production I.G produziu os filmes de Mamoru Oshii, Ghost in the Shell e Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, em 1995 e 2004, respetivamente, assim como a série anime e a sua sequela, OVAs, e filme. Em 2013, o estúdio adaptou o material na prequela OVA, Ghost in the Shell Arise, que mais tarde foi remixed para série televisiva.
Mais recentemente, a Production I.G estreou Ghost In The Shell: The New Movie, em 2015, e o vídeo smartphone, Ghost in the Shell VR Diver em 2017.
