Os 36º Golden Disc Awards realizaram-se no Gocheok Sky Dome no dia 8 de janeiro de 2022! 8Esta cerimónia é normalmente dividida em dois dias, mas o evento foi realizado apenas em um dia este ano para estar em conformidade com os regulamentos de distanciamento social. Não houve qualquer público presente e as atuações foram pré-gravadas.
Os atuantes incluíram aespa, ENHYPEN, THE BOYZ, BTS, Brave Girls, Lee Mujin, Lim Young Woong, Jeon Somi, STAYC, Stray Kids, Big Mama, SEVENTEEN, IU, Oh My Girl, TXT e a Heize.
A Winter das aespa não esteve presente no evento devido a problemas de saúde mas esteve na atuação pré-gravada do grupo.
